2017 Schedule of Events:
Friday, September 22
All Day                                 Practice Round- Players may schedule their practice rounds at their leisure.
5:00-7:00pm                        Cocktail Party on the Grille Terrace
 
Saturday, September 23
8:00-9:00am                        Practice Facility Open
8:00-9:00am                        Breakfast on the Grille Terrace
9:15am                                  Round 1 Shotgun start
1:15pm                                 Lunch to be served on the Grille Terrace.
7:00-10:00pm                      Dinner and Dancing Evening Party
 
Sunday, September 24
8:00-9:00am                        Practice Facility Open
8:00-9:00am                        Breakfast on the Grille Terrace
9:15am                                  Round 2 Shotgun start
1:15pm                                 Lunch and Award on the Grille Terrace.
 
Format:
Round 1 format will be a 2 person better ball where each player plays their own ball and the lower net score of the two is recorded. Round 2 format will be a 2 person shamble where the team selects the one best drive among them after teeing off, then each player plays their own golf ball from that position into the hole with the lower net score of the two recorded. The team with the lowest 36 hole score will be the winner.
 
Handicap Information and Tees:
Players will receive 90% (Men) or 95% (Women) of their adjusted course handicap for the better ball portion of the competition. Players will receive 60% of their adjusted course handicap for the Shamble portion of the competition.
Male participants may play the White or Grey tees and female participants will play the Teal tees. Course handicaps will be adjusted based on tee selection according to the USGA handicap manual. 
 
Team Eligibility:
Teams must be comprised of one male and one female partner. Team may be comprised of two members, or of one member and one guest. Spouses may comprise a team if so desired.
 
Divisions:           
There will be two divisions based on team make up. There will be a division for all teams that are made up of two members, and a division for all teams that are made up of a member and a guest. In the event of low participation in any given division category, a secondary method will be used by creating flights based on the sum of the team course handicap after tee adjustments.  
 
Registration:
Teams may register by calling the Bald Head Island Club golf shop at 910-457-7310. The registration deadline is September 1, 2017.
 
Entry Fee:
The entry fee is $125 per full member or guest, $150 per lifestyle member or guest plus applicable greens and cart fees. The entry fee includes a tee gift, all prizes and awards, a welcome cocktail reception, breakfast, lunch and dinner party on day 1 as well as breakfast and lunch on day 2.
