BHIC Ladies' Invitational ~ September 16, 2019

Due to Hurrican Florence the 2018 Ladies' Invitational has been canceled.

The refund of entry fees was processed on October 5th. Please allow 5-10 business days for credits to appear on your statement. As always, thank you for your support of this event and we hope to see you on the island again soon!


Date:  Monday, September 24, 2018 (one day only)
Charity:  This year’s charity of benefit currently under consideration and will be selected by the BHI Club Ladies’ Golf Association
Format:  Individual Stroke play with Low Gross and Low Net competitions. Players will be flighted according to their current USGA handicap index as of September 15, 2018.
Entry Fee:  The entry fee will be $60 per BHIC Full member; $75 per BHIC Lifestyle and Founding Social member; or $150 per day guest. The entry fee includes green and cart fees, a continental breakfast, lunch at the turn, and after golf hors d’oeuvres as well as ferry and transportation to and from the island.
Schedule of Events:         
9:00am                  Ferry transportation to the island
10:30am               Shotgun start
3:00pm                 Awards & hors d’oeuvres
5:30pm                 Ferry transportation off the island
Registration:  This year registration will be done entirely online, through our Golf Genius event webpage.  Registration will open Friday, June 1st at 9:00 am. The field will be limited to the first 116 players.  The registration page at can be accessed at the link below:

Players may register as an individual or as a group of up to four players. Information needed for each player will be Name, Email, Phone, and GHIN # or Handicap Club. Payment via credit card must be made for all players at the time of registration. Mulligans and Raffle Tickets will also be available for purchase with the registration.  
*Bald Head Island Club members should call the golf shop directly to register.

Mulligans:                          1 mulligan for $5.00           OR              2 mulligans for $10.00
Raffle Tickets:                    3 tickets for $10.00             OR              7 tickets for $20.00

2017 Ladies' Invitational

UPDATE (9/28/17):
With over 200 players this year, our annual Ladies' Invitational was a huge success. With generous support from sponsors and participants we raised over $10,500 for our charity, Brunswick Family Assistance. Thank you all again for playing and we hope to see you again next year!

This great event is hosted annually by the BHIC Ladies Golf Association to benefit a local charity. Open to all members and daily guests. Registration is full, subsequent entries will be placed on the waiting list.
