We are lucky to have Jeff Soo, a world-class croquet player, join us every couple of months throughout the year. His lessons are open and available to any Club member interested in playing the game. Jeff has created a multifaceted teaching program targeted to various skill levels and coaches beginners as well as more seasoned players. Each session with Jeff is followed by an individual recap of the lesson which Jeff emails to each student. The weekly croquet court schedule offers ample opportunities for practice.
Lessons
In conjunction with the BHI Croquet Club, Jeff presents a week-long agenda of learning opportunities. His lessons are designed for both Golf Croquet and 6-Wicket play. The topics of his lessons vary, touching on different areas of the game, including rules of play, shot-making techniques and game strategy. He offers several different teaching formats, as well, to include individual lessons, group clinics and coached games. All Club members are welcome.

CLUB MENTORS
In addition to Jeff Soo’s teaching schedule, we offer court time with the Croquet Club to help newcomers get started. A Croquet Club mentor can meet you out on the courts for some one-on-one time learning the fundamentals of Golf Croquet. You may select a time convenient for both of you and have a private session.
If you are interested, email the Recreation Department at [email protected] and they will connect you with a Croquet Club member who will be more than willing to introduce you to this exciting game.
In addition, the Croquet Club gathers for Open Play Time every Sunday morning at 10:30. Players of all skill levels are on the courts. Newcomers are always welcome to join in with the Golf Croquet players. Meet us at the court pavilion
